About Your Instructor

My name is Jane Doe, and II will be your Spanish instructor this semester. I am originally from Cuba, thus Spanish is my native tongue. When I first came to this country, I was 25 years old with no knowledge of English. Well, I did know some English. I was able to say: Hello, My name is Jane,  How are you? I am fine, thank you. Good bye!, so... ,  I know the challenges of learning a second language because I was there a few years ago. Therefore, I will try to use my experience, and struggles, to help you navigate through this experience, and remember, making mistakes is part of the learning process. Have fun! 

In my free time, I enjoys reading, singing and creating costumes for Mardi Gras.
