This assignment evaluates the following student outcomes, as related to our course goal.

Students will be able to:

1. WRITE sentences and paragraphs on familiar topics in order to communicate personal needs (CO4).
   1. SLO 1.7 To use the language accurately in unique ways that mirror real life.
   2. SLO 4.2 Compose short compositions in the target language on a variety of familiar topics.

• Full credit (100%)- assignment completely done, little to no spelling or grammar mistakes, responses are mainly or completely correct
• Partial credit (75%)- assignment is mainly complete, there are a few spelling or grammar mistakes, few responses are incorrect
• Half credit (50%)- assignment is half done, there are multiple spelling or grammar mistakes, multiple responses are incorrect
• Some credit (25%)- assignment is barely attempted, many spelling or grammar mistakes/English is inappropriately being used, majority of responses are incorrect
• No credit (0%)- assignment is unacceptable, incorrect, or nothing has been turned in.
